Do you have any questions?

Here is a list of questions I’m often asked about the way I operate as a wedding photographer. If you have any questions for me which are not on the list, please feel free to send me a message and I will be more than happy to help.

What locations do you cover?
I am based in Somerset but cover the whole of the UK and overseas. My wedding packages include travel within a 75 miles radius of Taunton. Travel thereafter is charged depending on location and time of travel, please contact me for a quote.

Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes, ofcourse. I have a valid passport, travel insurance and love travelling to new places. Please contact me for a quote.

Do you offer shorter coverage for smaller weddings?
Yes, I offer a bespoke service to suit the needs of most. Just let me know your requirements and I will provide you with a quote.

How many images will we receive?
4-6 weeks after your wedding day you will receive approximately 300-500 high resolution images on both a private online gallery and USB stick, along with low res versions for use on social media.

Do you edit the images yourself?
Yes, part of my style and the product I offer is how I finish your images, so every one will be individually edited by me.

Who owns the copyright to the photos?
The copyright of the images always remains the property of the photographer, however you have license to print and share as you wish. Images cannot be re-sold commercially.

Are you insured?
Yes, I have full professional indemnity, public liability and full equipment insurance.

Do we need to feed you?
You can, but not necessary, I am more than happy to bring my own packed lunch. I often use this time of the day to re-group and back up your photos.

Can you hold a date for us?
Dates are secured on a first come, first served basis and popular dates can be booked well up to 2 years in advance. If you want me to be your wedding photographer it is important to contact me as soon as you have secured a date with your venue. Unfortunately I am unable to hold your wedding date without deposit/booking fee and completed contract.

If we need to cancel our wedding, will we get our deposit/booking fee back?
The deposit/booking fee is non-refundable as it covers any administration and guarantees that the date is held exclusively for you. Once paid all other bookings are turned away for that date. If for any reason you need to cancel your wedding photography then let me know at the earliest possible convenience.

Why are your prices so low in comparison to some other photographers?
I like to charge what I believe to be reasonable for my services and then exceed expectations.

How do I book you?
First step is to send me a message or give me a call (07912 495380) and tell me about your big day. I aim to respond within 24 hours with full details of pricing and availability. If you then want to book me as your wedding photographer. It’s a simple contract to sign and a deposit of £200. Remaining payment is due 1 month before the date of your wedding.

Can we meet you before we book?
Ofcourse, I aim to meet all of my couples in advance of booking. Sometimes unfortunately distance and availability doesn’t allow for this; in which case we can chat on the phone, Zoom or Facetime as much as you need before making your decision.
